It goes without saying the Galapagos Islands are famous for the diversity of the wildlife and the extraordinary environmental balance required supporting this unique corner of the world. This has bred a great number of environmental initiatives and volunteering opportunities across the archipelago.
Galapagos ICE compliments these ‘Green’ initiatives from an alternative angle designed to bring a sense of consciousness to the people of the Islands, who are often unaware of the significance of their surroundings.
Our projects focus on educating children about the world they live in, working with local schools to develop a vast range of green initiatives such as design and build of a water catchment system to reorganizing a computer room or planting an organic garden.
