Some specific needs include:
- Volunteers with MSc in Environmental Mgmt/Sustainability

- Students and Professionals specialised in Sustainable Development
- Artists who use recycled material for art
Service periods are generally 2 weeks or longer (up to 3 months) and Basic to Advanced Spanish is required for all placements.

| Description: | Volunteer at a local school or with the Municipal Government working on one of many obejctives for the Green School initiative which could include: Green Curriculum Development, installing water catchment systems, repairing or building playground structures, reusing materials, creating art projects with recycled materials etc. |
| Location: | Puerto Ayora (Urban), Bellavista (Urban/Rural) and El Cascajo (Rural), Santa Cruz Island |
| Institution: | Local educational institutions, Galapagos ICE and/or Municipal Government |

| Required Skills: | Grasp of Environmental Mgmt/Sustainability.
Ideally with business experience, coaching/teaching experience, experience in implementing change

| Engineers in water and Electrical Engineering (Green School & Sustainable Tourism project) | |
| Description: | Work with local government or institutions on sustainable development projects around the Island related to engineering infrastructure. We are looking for interns that can provide options and sustainable water system for locals so not to waste water. Energy saving devises, lighting for the locals that would be solar paneled lighting. |
