Galapagos ICE encourages groups of volunteers to come to the Galapagos Islands and work together on a special project.  This can include groups of professionals, such as dentists or doctors. It can also include groups of high school students who can come to work on building an eco-playground or planting or painting.

We have projects suitable for groups in healthcare and conservation or you may have your own ideas about how you can contribute!

Volunteer for a Special Project

Special Projects – Do you have other skills you would like to contribute? Please contact us with your project proposal or ideas.

Groups are required to have one Spanish Speaker for every eight group members, who is comfortable conversing with hospital staff, patients, teachers and/or the general public as appropriate for the project. If you do not have sufficient Spanish speakers in your group then Galapagos ICE can provide translators at an extra cost. Please contact us for more information.

Groups must also handle all communication and financial matters with Galapagos ICE via a single point of contact that represents the group.
